Taek earned a MS/PhD from Stanford University with a focus on data processing and algorithms. After working as an engineer at Qualcomm and ASSIA, he joined McKinsey as a management consultant. At McKinsey he helped high tech clients resolve strategic/operational challenges. He left McKinsey to build the US office for Dolphin Browser (Sequoia/Matrix funded mobile web-browser company) as General Manager and Head of Business Development. Taek holds 10 patents, and has written 20 academic papers. He has traveled to more than 30 countries throughout his career.
Michael earned a MS from Stanford University in Computer Science. At Stanford, he researched at human computer interaction (CHIME) lab, studying the emotional and rational effects of user interfaces on drivers. Before coming to Stanford, Michael worked 6 years at IBM, Adobe, and a startup in Canada as a software engineer focusing on enterprise server developments. Most recently, he was with IDINCU, a startup from Korea, as Head of Engineering. He lead the development of a hybrid iOS app, and a social webapp for mobiles.

Mason met two founders while he was working at StartX portfolio company. He graduated from School of Interactive Art & Technology (SIAT) at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. He has studied programming and design including web technologies like JavaScript, interaction design, UI design, and UX research.
